Foundations of Everyday Leadership
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign

To some, leadership is an advantage; meanwhile to some, leadership is a problem. This is a wonderful course elaborates what leadership is all about from theoretical perspective. It guides you to find the secrets why some people is so good at being a leader.

To me, this course is more about psychology, science of mind, and art of communication. The failure of leadership almost always begins with the failure of insight into human nature. You won’t be able to lead until you truly understand what people are thinking and aspiring.

This course reminds me of many occasions I encountered when making and implementing group decision. How to agree to disagree? How to manage motivations? How to balance self-efficacy and social dilemma? There is no right or wrong. The course helps you identify and be aware of these devils in the details.

Leadership is everywhere: in school, in family, in organizations. This course is wonderful and deserve you attention.
