When you put your feet on the cloud ;-), there must be two magical things you will need to touch: virtual private cloud (VPC) and virtual machines (VMs). They are mapping to what you see in the physical world: network and computer servers, correspondingly.
Almost all cloud providers offer fancy & easy-to-use web pages to help you deploy VPC and VMs, the job seems easy, but actually it is very challenging to design a effective network and to keep it working efficiently.
This course dedicated itself to familiar you with VPC and VMs, and inspire you to find more resources to dig deeper. I really like (as always) the hands-on assignments offered by Qwiklabs. You learn by practicing in real Google Cloud environment. These hands-on assignments teach me but also make me reflect what I have done in other projects.
