Prompt Engineering for ChatGPT
Vanderbilt University

ChatGPT and other large language models are cool, but still, they can’t manage to read your mind. You need talk to them, give them instructions, and have some kinds of interaction. There are skills to make this interaction happen and effective. Prompt engineering is a critical part of the Generative AI project lifecycle. From a user’s perspective, if you want to unleash the power of these large language models without writing any software program, prompt engineering is definitely the right thing you need to do.

This is a wonderful course, you will learn how to start conversations and dig valuable information from large language models. Using them as tools will help you be more creative. However sometimes they lie confidently. Be cautious that you can’t always trust what you were told. Do the fact checks by yourself.
