Certainly referring to official documents is another way of learning how to use Kubernetes, but the benefit of learning a course like this is that it will help you gain lots of useful information and skills without spending much time, given the fact that you are new and ready to get your hands dirty. Running a production environment is a serious thing, it still takes lot of time to be a real expert.

This course focuses on security and network policy. What make them unique is when you think about everything from the perspective of a Pod, or any other kind of resource. Resource quota and auto-scaling strategies are essential to keep your cluster robust and functioning properly. ELK, Prometheus and Grafana have been there for long time, I used to setup them to monitor a huge cluster comprising of hundreds of physical hosts. Now in the world where Kubernetes is popular, ELK Prometheus and Grafana certainly still play important roles and deserve your attention.
