Trustworthy Generative AI
Vanderbilt University

No matter how fancy generative AI is, the truth is that you can not trust it. The real things behind beautiful wording and perfect grammar are probably nonsense or even lies. You will have to do fact checks, and think again whether your time is worth the benefit. Generative AI is no more than a tool, but which is still need to be held responsible and liable. Like search engine and many other tools, generative AI is helpful in some cases, but it is not going to replace real people with dignity and integrity.

Trust is a fragile thing. The bottom line is you need to trust yourself.
