Networking in Google Cloud: Defining and Implementing Networks
Google Cloud

In the era when everything goes virtual, private networks in public cloud is one of the most essential and attractive part of cloud computing. They usually have a fancy name “Virtual Private Cloud” or VPC, available in the catalog of almost all Cloud service providers.

This awesome course from Google Cloud will enable you to do cool things! Deploying a global and sophisticated network is only a few clicks away. You are superman and will save the world. 馃榾

The course begins with the most fundamental concepts of VPC: projects, networks, routes, firewall rules, etc. Sounds familiar, right? But when putting them in the context of Zone, Region, and even entire Google Cloud Platform, you will find they are different, but much more powerful. They are the building blocks that you use to make dreams true.

VPC needs to be protected from unwanted access. In the module that introduces the access controlling, Identity & Access Management and Organization Policy come on the scene. Definitely there will be dedicated course for security. The point here is that VPC is not alone and is well protected by other services offered by Google Cloud.

The third major topic is about sharing networks across projects. Two approaches are introduced: Shared VPC (a centralized approach) and VPC Peering (a decentralized approach). It is amazing that you can even combine both. Lastly, the course elaborates the Cloud Load Balancing. All 6 types of load balancing are covered.

This course offers 7 hands-on practice QwikLabs, very helpful. To consolidate your skills., there is no way better than practicing what you learn in real Google Cloud environment.
