Fitting Statistical Models to Data with Python
University of Michigan

AI is combination of many different fields. Statistics definitely belongs to the group of the most fundamental ones. There are so many online courses, I never saw two courses that are teaching identical things. I can always learn something new.

Before this course, I’ve never used the library statsmodels in the past. Linear regression, logistic regression, multilevel models, marginal models, and etc. The library implemented those commonly used models in such a neat and succinct way. In the final week, there is a brief introduction to Bayesian inference techniques. Like a gate, it leads to more exciting topics to explore.

Quick Recap

Fitting Parametric Models to Data
Multilevel Models vs Marginal Models
