Kubernetes and its ecosystem provide all the capabilities needed to address key concerns of any microservice architecture. It is hot ever since its debut in 2014 from Google, and now is widespread and be supported by many big companies.

I have been working on Kubernetes and Redhat’s distribution Openshift Container Platform for years. I have to say what Kubernetes offers is very appealing. There is a trend in that direction, more and more companies are offering their services in Kubernetes environments.

This course is for those who have no experience with Kubernetes. It covers basic concepts like images, containers, Kubernetes control plane, object management, architecture, etc. The course from Google are all short and succinct, you will grasp the most important knowledge without spending too much time. The hand-on practice offered by Qwiklabs are very useful. You will practice in real Google Cloud without spending a dime. I asked help from Qwiklabs customer care because of some technique issue, they respond my request and solve the issue fast.
